No fun, but maybe there will be cricket
Good morning sports fans and welcome to a damp Sunday.
The fun activities have already been cancelled due to the predicted weather, but we may still have an outside chance of playing a bit of cricket.
Today's game at Lincoln Road is due to start at 2pm, but we will need the all clear from the groundsman and the weather forecast before we get too excited. There was lots of overnight rain and we will need a slice of good fortune to get any play.
However, we must assume that the game is on. If the game is cancelled you will be contacted by a club official as soon as possible. It is likely that we will have a update from the ground by midday at the latest. If there is no hope of play we will get the cancelled message out as early as possible.
Fingers crossed though that the rain stops and the sun bursts through.
