Nets and T20s

Nets -

The first thing to report in this midweek club round up is that nets go ahead tonight.

There had been questions about nets clashing with the European Cup Final, but enough players have expressed an interest in playing that we will now go ahead.

The session at the John Warner Sports Centre in Hoddessdon is booked from 7pm and will conclude at dusk. All players will be charged £2.

T20 -

The other big news item today is that a rescue package may have been put together to save the Twenty/20 series against the Edmonton Teachers.

The teachers themselves have more or less secured a home game at the Northampton Exiles ground in Barrowell Green, and Bonehead has stepped up for us to safeguard the other two games at North Enfield.

The dates will remain the same as published on the fixture list and exact details of what game is played where will be published as soon as possible over the next couple of days.

North Enfield play at a picturesque ground at the top of Clay Hill in Enfield near the Fallow Buck Public House. It will be a great honour for the club to play there and big thanks must go to Bonehead for making this a possibility at very short notice.
