Time for the talk to stop

Today is the day that we have waited for since we travelled home from Eastnor Castle in 2008.

On the journey home we had plenty of time to think about what went wrong and where we under performed. Since that game we have progressed even further as a club and we couldn’t have started the 2009 season much better.

However, we still go into this game as underdogs as we have played The Cotswolds twice and lost on both occasions. In fact this game is almost the perfect yardstick to see if we have really improved or that we have played a few under strength teams at the start of 2009.

This game is always keenly contested and there are sure to be many swings in momentum as the game progresses. Bowling, fielding and batting will all be tested and this one could easily go down to the final over.

The game will be a 40 over contest with tea being taken between innings.

Proceedings are being aimed to get underway by 12pm.
