Good morning sports fans and welcome to a new fixture for the club in the shape of a clash against Walthamstow Horizontals. 

The Horizontals look to be a similar club to ourselves in that they are all adults and do not entertain league cricket. They play their home games at Winchmore Hill Cricket Club which will be a real privilege this afternoon. 

Our opponents have made a good start to the season by posting runs and taking runs, although it seems as though they ran into a top team last week. We have made a great start ourselves, but we haven’t really been tested as much as last season. 

Big Mike Freeman will captain the pinks with the first ball due to be bowled at 130pm. Players are advised to arrive at the Paulin Ground for 1245pm. 

Players are also reminded to bring their £10 match fee, as we have had a spate recently of late payers.
