Good morning sports fans and welcome to the day when Rosaneri travel to East Lodge Lane to take on Botany Bay. 

This game is always eagerly awaited and Rosaneri have twice left the Bay with victory in the locker. We are playing on the main pitch which is always an honour and word has it that Botany Bay have named a particularly strong batting line up. 

The game is due to get underway at 2pm, so players are advised to arrive at the ground for 1.15pm.  

Both games last year were 40 over contests, but we have played timed games in the past against The Bay. The captains will make a final call on this during the toss. 

We have started the season very well, but this game promises to be the biggest test so far. Botany Bay did put out an under strength team last season at East Lodge Lane, but in the return leg at Lincoln Road we were comprehensively thrashed. Therefore we must remember the basics and work hard as a team to be in a position to compete. 

Our bowling has been excellent this year, but it will almost certainly our batting performance that will shape the result.
