Good morning sports fans and welcome to another great adventure for Rosaneri Cricket Club. 

Today we are taking on Ware (Old Hertfordians) Sunday XI in the village of Widford. The contest is due to commence at 1.30pm and the pinks will be captained by Andy Underwood. 

We have no form line whatsoever as we are pitting our wits against a completely new opposition. The bowling and fielding have been excellent this year, so we shouldn’t have too much to fear on that front. But the batting could well be a problem as the totals scored at the venue this year have all been low. Yesterday’s game only recorded 203 runs for the loss of 18 wickets. 

The sat nav references SG12 8RF, but those driving by instinct should leave the A10 at Ware south and head into Ware. Go over the river bridge where the pubs are on either side and turn right to Much Hadham. Follow that road all the way until you get to Widford (about 4 miles). The church will be on your right hand side, keep going until you see a row of cottages on your right. The entrance to the cricket ground car park is just after the last big house where the road splits. 

Bacon baguettes and flapjacks will be available from 12.45pm for all Rosaneri players and supporters on a first come first served basis.
