The man of the match voting for the game against Nazeing Common has now closed. Two players did not vote so only 9 votes were counted this week.
Of the 9 votes cast it was very tight and 6 different players actually received votes.
The following summary from one of the voters perfectly sums up the difficulty of making that final choice;
There are so many to choose from:
1) Great innings first up from Mr. Bell. Saw off and scored runs against the opening bowlers.
2) Tony's highest every score for the club and a new record 3rd wicket partnership with Mr. Bell.
3) Great 56* from Jim. Once the feet started moving glorious shots all round the ground.
4) Pits highest every score for the team.
5) Superb controlled bowling from Stephen - 9 overs for 11 runs and 2 wickets.
6) Spin wizardry from Nick and 3 vital wickets.
7) Good all round performance from Mat - catch, runs and a wicket.
8) Paul's second spell was electric and probably one of the best spells in the club's history.
But one man in a team of heroes did come out on top.
His name………………………Tony Alfieri.
Tony wins a set of after match cleaning products.
