The net session on Wednesday night was superb with 8 squad members turning up to tune up for the opening game. Believe it or not, we now only have 9 sessions left until the start of the 2009 season !                     

In all this winter weather the season still seems miles away, but it will not be long before the daffodils are in full flower and the temperature starts to rise. This time between now and d day must be used wisely to ensure that we hit the ground running. 

Last season we got off to a flying start and many a judge put that down to the amount of work we put in during the months building up to the start of the season. So with the weeks remaining let’s get ourselves as fit as possible physically, practice as much as we can, and start to prepare mentally. 

The more preparation you do, the more you will enjoy your season. 

The remaining gaps in the fixture list will be filled shortly and dates for the club poker night and pre season meal will be announced in the next few weeks.
