The glitterati of the slimming world gathered at Goffs School in Cheshunt on Wednesday night for the official “Weigh in” of the 2009 Rosaneri Slimmer of the Year Award.                              

Three brave contenders stepped forward to face each other up, before club officials stepped in to record the official starting weights. The competition will be run to the end of the playing season with the winner being the individual who loses the biggest percentage of their starting weight. 

As a prize, the two losers will pay for the winner’s end of season meal between them. 

The complete line up of contenders is Mr Bell, Sheridan, and Bloater. They have all pledged to play fair, and there is no truth in the rumour that Bloater had a couple of Maris Pipers stuffed down his trousers.
