A busy weekend

The AGM went ahead on Saturday at an excellent venue in Northaw, Cuffley.

It went on for a massive four and a half hours with proceedings being called to a halt at midnight. A full summary of the debate will appear on this website over the next couple of days.

The main thing was that we were all still talking to each other at the end of the night and the club is now in a position to move forward.

On the fixture front we can now confirm the first of two games this season against Enfield at Lincoln Road. The first contest has now been confirmed for Sunday the 7th of June.

It is also very likely to be the date for this years Family and Charity Day. Although this was the wish of those at the AGM, this still needs to be rubber stamped from the committee at Enfield.

The date for our second match against Enfield is still on hold as we also need to look at dates available for “Home” clashes against The Cotswolds and Botany Bay. Work is going on behind the scenes every day, so the things could become much clearer any day soon.
