Yet another very attractive fixture can now be added to our rapidly expanding fixture list.
Sunday the 31st of May will see Rosaneri take on Broxbourne Cricket Club’s Sunday B XI.
Broxbourne were established in 1848 and play at a superb ground in Mill Lane, Broxbourne.
The match will be a limited overs contest of either 40 or 45 overs. Looking at the Sunday B XI results from last season, we have no real form guide to assess the strength of our opponents. But I am sure that we will be in for a stern test.
Other fixtures for the list are under discussion, and more confirmed encounters will be added in the very near future. We are very hopeful that the date for our annual trip to the Cotswolds can be also added as soon as possible.
Discussions are well underway with Enfield in a bid to identify a date to play Enfield themselves, but also to confirm dates when we can hire the pitch for “Home games”.
