Inside the donut

No, this is not an article about the eating habits of some of our squad members. It is the announcement of another couple of confirmed fixtures.

Both games are at venues within the big donut of the M25.

The games both involve new opposition and are as follows;

Sunday May the 17th against Walthamstow Horizontals

and

Sunday August the 16th against Holtwhites Trinibis Sunday 2nd XI

Walthamstow Horizontals actually play their home games in Winchmore Hill at the famous Paulin Ground which is the home of the mighty Winchmore Hill Cricket Club. Their fixture list from last year gives us a few form lines to tie in with, and it promises to be a close and well contested match.

Holtwhites Trinibis play in Enfield at Kirkland Drive off Holtwhites Hill. They have a lovely ground that has recently been totally modernised. Their Saturday teams play in the Middlesex league and their Sunday 2nd XI will offer us a thorough examination.

More confirmed fixtures are likely to follow tomorrow.
