The closing ceremony of the 2008 cricket season was performed on Friday night as 15 members of the squad made it to Hertford for the end of season meal.

The early part of the evening in The Woolpack was banter fuelled, but some terrible amateur singing on the karaoke made leaving for the meal a very easy decision to make.

The restaurant was as close to perfect as you could ever really have for such an occasion. We had an excellent private room and were looked after brilliantly from the very first minute till the moment we left. The food was excellent and I think it was fair to say that everyone left the table fully contented.

Presentations were made at the end of the evening for the following awards;
