Friday’s end of season meal preparations have been thrown into chaos following the dramatic news that Café Uno in Hertford ceased trading yesterday.

The Uno building will now be transformed into a French restaurant, but it will not be open for 2 to 3 weeks, which is not much use to us.

Club officials are frantically looking at the reserve list and a firm booking should hopefully be made by the end of today.

We will have at least 15 in our party, so not all options will be able to accommodate us.

Options being considered include Bollywoods, Weatherspoons, Pizza Express, ASK, and Baroosh.
