The voting for the 2008 Champagne Moment has been suspended.

Yesterday afternoon witnessed strange voting patterns on the forum and club officials chose to suspend voting to avoid an embarrassing fiasco.

Rosaneri’s IT men are conducting a full enquiry and all findings will be handed over to Ofcom. The forum voting system for The Champagne Moment will remain closed, and will now be replaced by a transparent email voting system to settle the competition.

The Club’s statistician has been asked to identify all players that played in both games that are involved in the play off to decide the overall winner. Those players once identified will be emailed and asked to name their winner.

The final result of the 2008 Champagne Moment will be declared on this website as soon as known.
