We have taken a look at the team as a whole in 2008, but now it is time to start taking a look at the individuals.
We start with Graham Tyrrell.

On the face of it, many will be surprised that Graham averaged under 10. But the statistics do not show that Graham opened the innings week in week out when others ran away from the pressure.
Opening the batting at any level of cricket takes guts as you never know exactly what you are competing against. As an opener you will almost certainly always face the opposition’s best bowlers, who are fresh and pumped up for wickets. Mr Bell has never run from a challenge and he batted with guts and defensive style on many an occasion. He may not of returned a massive average, but he certainly did his job of trying to take the sting out of the attack.
Graham’s best score of the season was a very impressive 39 against Botany Bay up at East Lodge Lane which helped propel Rosaneri to a stunning victory. But his best innings of the season may well have come at the Hazelwood Recreation Ground when he stood up to all Mayfield had to throw at him to ensure that the opposition knew that Rosaneri were not going to flinch in the face of hostile bowling. This set the tone and again Rosaneri recorded victory.
Injury was a constant problem on the wicket keeping side of the business and ultimately cost him a second season in possession of the Golden Fielder.
Mr Bell is a Captains dream as he conducts himself with professionalism from the moment he turns up to the ground, and will always take up the challenge of opening which can often be a headache for the skipper in terms of naming the order. As the professional he is, he will already be preparing for the 2009 season.
A maiden 50 for the club next season should be a realistic target as long as the dreaded injuries stay away.
