By the end of the 2008 season it had become clear that batting had become a bit of a problem again. But we did have our moments, and there were some fine individual innings in our 20 game season.

Jim had a very solid season with the bat and returned 344 valuable runs for the team.
Graham Sparrey recorded the highest individual score of the year with his brilliant 92 against Edmonton.
Bloater and Shell both accumulated valuable runs, but will both be disappointed that they didn’t go on to cash in on a big 50. Mat Freeman deserves special mention as he came to the teams rescue on numerous occasions, and looks nailed on to kick on and record his maiden 50 next year.
The Cox brothers were both regular and consistent and both built on promising first seasons.
Adam Jones was a real sensation as he raised his bat for 50’s twice in only a 5 innings season.
Cuz and Mr Bell make up the top 10, and both are batsmen who have proved they can bat well, but need to kick on and produce the goods on a more regular basis.
As a team we recorded 2508 runs, but we didn’t manage to record an individual century. However batsmen representing the Pinks did manage to record 7 individuals 50’s.
