A date for the end of season meal and presentation night will be set shortly.

There is currently an online poll to help us name the date, so if you haven’t already done so please get onto the forum and name your preferred dates.

Once the date is named we will also have to decide on a restaurant for the meal. So please get thinking on this score as well. We already have assumed that Marcus will want Jade Garden and Bonehead will want an Italian.

The Golden Fielder Trophy will be presented as usual, but we also need to sort ourselves out in terms of other awards and trophies. One such award that was mentioned at the last AGM then subsequently forgotten about was that of Champagne Moment of the season. I think the intention was that we voted for the Champagne Moment of each match throughout the season and then the player with the most votes picked up the end of season trophy and a bottle of Champagne.

A thread has been opened online for nominations for the Champagne Moment of the year, so please get your nominations in. Suggestions can be for great moments of cricketing brilliance or great lines and comedy moments or in fact anything that you want.
