We must press on

The Wednesday night nets for 2008 are gradually drawing to a close, but we must keep going right until the last ball of the season is bowled.

This week we continue the graft at Goffs School in Cheshunt. The session gets underway at 9pm and will last for one hour. Players will be charged £3 each.

If you can, please arrive 15 minutes early to assist with the set up of the nets.

If we are honest with ourselves, we have let ourselves down results wise this year and we really need to put a win on the board. That win is within touching distance, but we to put it in with the bat at nets. Attending the net will not guarantee you a decent score at the weekend, but it will help raise your form to a level where you are ready to give it your best effort.

Last week we had a side net where Coxy had 15 minutes of bat craft and throw downs. He left the net feeling good and just as importantly he looked good. If anyone wants to work on anything specifically then please ask on arrival.
