The Golden Fielder competition is now reaching the business end and the race for the Silver Salver is still wide open.
Andy Underwood took a stumping on Sunday to keep the pressure on the leader and Mike Levett recorded two points with two well gathered catches.
Mr Bell is back from his holiday and no doubt ready to do all that he can behind the stumps to defend his crown. He is still only a point off the lead with a handful of games remaining.
The Silver Salver will be presented at the club’s end of season dinner.
