English cricket is right in the middle of the domestic Twenty/20 season right now so it seems fitting to announce our first confirmed Twenty/20 match of the season.
The match will be played on Friday the 25th of July at Lincoln Road, Enfield.
The opposition are our old friends The Edmonton School Teachers and proceedings will get underway at 6pm.
Obviously the game will consist of 20 overs per side with bowlers being limited to 4 overs. There will be no restriction on batsmen and unfortunately there will not be a tea.
However, the food enthusiasts will be catered for with an after match curry or Chinese.
Last season the matches were very tight and we are assured a close contest.
In this type of cricket the pressure is on from ball one and the scoreboard must be kept ticking over as an absolute minimum. So net practice during the coming weeks should be used to refine our technique.
