Back to normal
We are back to business as usual tonight as the Wednesday night net returns to The John Warner Sports Centre in Hoddessdon at 7.30pm.
Hopefully the weather will remain nice and we can get a good session in until at least 9pm.
The recent hot spell will have dried the pitch for Saturday and it could be a good time for a few of the batsmen to get in amongst the runs. Batsmen should get a good time block on the night to hopefully put them in touch for the weekend.
The bowling has been good this year so far as we have bowled a few teams out and also had a few 8 and 9 down. The bowlers should continue to work on their consistency.
After net banter and cooling slush products can be had in the bar afterwards.
