A tight finish predicted

Rosaneri head into the unknown today with a trip to Palmers Green to play Mayfield.

This promises to be a very even contest through all known form lines. Mayfield have made a good start to the season and coasted to an 8 wicket victory last weekend.

The Rosaneri Captain this week will be Andy Underwood and Jim will act as his Vice Captain.

The match will begin at 2pm and it is suggested that players meet at the ground for 1.15pm. The exact format of the game will be confirmed by the captains before the toss.

The ground is situated just off Hedge Lane in Palmers Green. There is no car park as such and road parking will be the order of the day. The best place to park is Connaught Gardens and the ground is a 30 second walk through an alley. Rosaneri football fans will remember the ground as the venue of last years Middlesex Cup Semi Final.

We are in blistering form at the moment and if we focus and dig deep the run can easily continue. Gbell has admirably settled into the opening batsman’s slot, and Mark Cox is brimming with new found confidence following a recent bucket full of runs.

Stephen Underwood is in fine form with the ball and probably has one of the best economy rates in world cricket. Ben Underwood makes his seasonal debut and Mat Freeman will be looking for wickets after a week off.

The team has a nice balance to it and the bowling options look particularly strong.
