New cap takes award

The votes have been totalled and this week we have another new name to add to the man of the match hall of fame.

Adam Jones was the clear winner for his brilliant 57 when under extreme pressure to push Rosaneri to a competitive total. He rolled back the years to display classy shots that would have graced a Test match arena.

Adam answered the call to earn his pink cap and nobody would have guessed he had not played a competitive match for 15 years. His heroics earn him an instant double mention on the Rosaneri Honours Board, firstly for his 50, but secondly for his record breaking 7th wicket partnership with Jim.

This was swashbuckling stroke play at its best and below are the comments of a fellow player:

Man of the match; if I could split it 3 ways between Adam, Jim and
Stephen, then I would. However I choose Adam who turned the game around
and played some shots worth watching. Clearly in a different league
batting wise.

For his efforts Adam wins a set of stylish shower products.
