The fixtures are now being confirmed thick and fast. The latest date to put in the diary is Friday June the 8th for a match against the Edmonton County school teachers.
We will be taking advantage of the summer light evenings and the game will commence at 6pm. The game itself will be in the classic Twenty/20 format.
This fast style of cricket has not been a happy hunting ground for the pinks, and big improvements need to be made for the first scalp to be taken. Batting needs to be focused and the scoreboard must be kept ticking at all costs. Bowling must be accurate and economical, and the fielders must remain sharp for every single moment.
Both sides are very well matched, and the team that gets everything right on the night will certainly come out on top.
