The team for this sundays fund day event at Lincoln Road has been announced as:

This is obviously a very popular fixture and John Shuttlewood is the only contracted player missing this week and Ian steps in to fill his place. Ian obviously has strong ties with ECC (his dad is club president!) and he declared his desire to play many weeks ago. This is one of only a handful of fixtures that Ian can make and it was therefore decided that it would be fair and appropriate for him to step in on this occassion.

This does of course mean that other players who were very keen to play will miss out and the club would again like to stress that decisions are given careful consideration and will try to give everyone as much opportunity to play as possible.
