Winter net coach appointed

Rosaneri cricket club are pleased to announce that they have appointed Mat Freeman as the clubs indoor net coach for 2007.

Mat has played competitive cricket for over 20 years at a very high local level. In his schoolboy days he was Enfield Grammar Schools opening bowler and had a reputation for generating amazing pace from a short run up. He then went on to represent Bangor University, before returning to Enfield to ply his trade for Enfield cricket club.

Fast bowling has always been Mat’s forte, but he is also a technically correct lower order batsman. The club feel that we can all benefit from his years of experience, and a few pointers will undoubtedly help the new recruits to cricket improve their performance.

It will be good to see a few of the new guys to cricket at the nets on Wednesday, so that they can benefit from the wise words of our new coach.
