Friday night was a great night out as 8 cricket enthusiasts got together to talk about the game they love and to enjoy a fine curry.

However, the event was high-jacked by the unveiling of Rosaneri’s very own Bionic Man.

For a number of weeks many people had commented on his low profile, and most thought he was recovering at home after a routine leg operation. But it soon became clear that Mr Bell had not just been away for a routine bit of surgery.

He had in fact been to America to be totally rebuilt by scientists. The scientists have increased his mobility by 400%, his strength by 200%, and he no longer feels any pain at all.

While at the curry table he gave us an insight into the world of The Office of Scientific Intelligence (OSI) by describing how he reacted to the intensive pain testing he undertook.

The Chief Scientist sent maximum volts into Mr Bell’s lower leg to which the Bionic Man reacted by saying, “Start when your ready guvnor”!

As a result the Bionic Man has confirmed that he is now available for the opening game which is 8 weeks ahead of standard schedule !

Mr Bell has never lacked confidence or self belief, but his new Bionic status has even taken this to a new level as he ended up having a treble with Robsie for him to be Top Batsman, Golden Fielder, and score a double century before the end of May.
