Family day at Enfield Cricket Club is now only a month away. So now it is time we got down to business and sorted out the finer points.
The actual date is Sunday the 4th of May, which is the perfect date as we have a Bank Holiday Monday to recover from the exertions.
Email contact has been made with the powers that be at Enfield to ensure that final permission is granted for a Bouncy Castle on the Presidents lawn. We are still awaiting confirmation, but our man on the inside says it should be a formality.
Marcus has very kindly confirmed that The Noisy Drinks Company will be providing a free Slush machine complete with syrups and cups. The drinks will be sold at a very reasonable price and profits will be split 50/50 with Enfield.
Robsie intends to run an onsite betting gazebo assuming he gets final permissions from the Enfield committee, which is proving somewhat of a sticking point.
Enfield will also stage a big post match barbecue to enable everyone to refuel after a hard days playing or watching.
But we still want more.
