The now well established Wednesday night net continues this week at Goffs School in Cheshunt.
The session officially lasts for one hour and begins at 8.45pm. However, we are able to enter the Sports Hall at 8.30pm in order to set up.
A prompt arrival not only helps us set up more quickly, but it also enables us to hire the correct amount of nets. Last week we hired a net that ended up not being used, as the anticipated late flurry of the previous week never materialised.
To avoid this loss of club funds, please arrive at 8.30pm. If you are intending to arrive but are running late, then please text Jim or Nick so that they can adjust estimates accordingly.
Hopefully the Net Doctor will be back to fitness and conducting his eagerly awaited 3rd surgery. Individuals who have not yet received the benefit of the Doctors wisdom will be given priority.
The session last week was magnificent with the standard of bowling being so much better than previous weeks. Further concentration on the bowling will not only benefit the bowlers themselves, but will also assist the batsmen to be able to develop their stroke locker.
