Pitch measurements - no more arguments!!!

The correct pitch length has been subject of much debate in recent weeks in the nets and it's something we really need to get right. Although each week we carefully measure out the distance time and time again the length is questioned.

Hopefully the diagram below will put all of this to bed:



The pitch is 22 yards stumps to stumps (as we already knew). This equates to 66 feet.

When measured out this does look long in the nets but it is correct and we must stick to it accurately in order to ensure we are bowling correct length.

No more arguments please!!!
