Please make every effort to get to Goff’s School tonight for 8.30pm so that we can get set up promptly. The session officially starts at 8.45pm and will continue to 9.45pm.

The number crunching has now been completed and the pre-subscription fee has been set at £30 for 10 sessions. This means that the 9 who have already paid up will be refunded £20 in cash.

The fee for pay on the night users has been set at £4, and cash must be paid on the night as requests for credit will be politely refused.

Hopefully the Net Doctor will be holding his regular surgery for those in need of his attention. So far, the Net Doctor has been in much demand and his work is highly valued by the club.

Some players who had the privilege of the Net Doctors advice in the first week found it very difficult to re-adapt to practicing their shots against some of the erratic bowling. In a bid to help the batsmen practice we will re-introduce a slow and fast net, so that at least the batsmen will have some idea of what they are about to face.

Another criticism of the bowling was that the majority of balls were way to short in length. The occasional short ball is acceptable, but consistent short bowling makes certain shots very hard to work on. So with this in mind, please concentrate on bowling the best ball that you can to make the session as beneficial as possible.
