Wednesday night saw a record attendance at nets and yet another brilliant session with the Net Doctor.

13 players turned out, including 10 of the 11 contracted players. This was a fantastic effort and really bodes well for the coming season with everyone appreciating the need for practice.

The Net Doctor had four appointments on the night and managed to offer essential advice to Nick, Shell, Tony, and Mat.

The other two nets operated as normal and there were some performances of note. Paul Sindrey is improving every week and his pace his certainly now in the rapid category. Another quick who stood out on the night was Steve Shewring. Steve got himself into a lovely rhythm and he gave batsmen a real working over.

On the batting front general standards have improved no end, and those who had the benefit of the Net Doctors advice last week looked very assured this week. Marcus, Coxy, and Sinders looked like they were really thinking about their shot selection and trying to deliver what they had been taught the week before. Coxy in particular hit a couple of beautiful looking attacking shots.

The other batting star on the night was without doubt Kiwi Graham. He looked utterly assured to everything he faced, and surely a big score this summer is guaranteed.

The Sawbridgeworth booking is now cancelled, and Goffs will now remain the Winter net venue until further notice.
