Trip to Edmonton confirmed

Yet another high profile fixture has been confirmed for the summer of 2008.

This time we are pleased to announce an away fixture against Edmonton Cricket Club on Sunday the 29th of June.

The corresponding fixture last year was a classic with Andy Underwood notching his first century and Jim Downing registering his first half ton for the club, and the pinks recorded their highest team total. At tea, Rosaneri were on top of the world and victory seemed a formality. But how wrong we were, as Edmonton’s local knowledge paid off for a comfortable victory.

Even in defeat though, the game went down as one of the best days out last summer. This years rematch will take a similar structure in format, and the pinks will be keen to show that they have learnt from their experience of the unique Edmonton pitch.

Many of our squad members started their cricket with Edmonton as juniors so the fixture is an emotional trip down memory lane as well.

Win, lose or draw, this is a game not to miss.
