Tonights net sees another new venue in the shape of Goffs School Sports Hall in Cheshunt. The post code for sat nav users is EN7 5QW.

The session officially begins at 8.45pm and will continue until 9.45pm. However, the staff have suggested that we turn up at 8.30pm in order to get set up. A prompt set up will obviously give us a chance of getting a few extra overs in.

The excitement of a new venue will not be the main attraction of the night though. The main attraction for certain will be the first ever appearance at Rosaneri nets for superstar batsman Neil Tilley.

Tills has very kindly offered to turn up and offer coaching advice to all batsmen on the night. His experience is not only great in numbers of years, but it is also great in terms of quality. Neil has played on the same cricket pitch as such legends of the game as Adam Gilchrist, Mike Gatting, Angus Fraser and Phil Tufnell.

Anything that he offers to the batsmen should be fully noted and worked upon in the coming weeks. We all know that batting will be the difference for us competing next year with the established clubs, so any opportunity to improve will be gratefully received.

Whatever level of batting skill we have, Neil should be able to guide us to the next level.
