Home date with Cotswolds now confirmed

Sunday the 7th of September has now been confirmed as the date when we welcome The Cotswolds to Lincoln Road, Enfield for the home leg of our two match series.

The final format for the game is yet to be established, but it could well take the form of a two innings 25 overs per side match. This means that each team will bat twice on the day.

The rivalry between the two teams has reached fever pitch, and this summers two match series will go along way in deciding the bragging rights for the whole of 2008 and beyond.

Both teams are very evenly matched and the winning spoils will certainly be taken by the team who want it more on the day. The results could simply come down to who bowls least wides or drops the most catches.

This series against The Cotswolds has more or less become our Ashes, so we must already be thinking about getting it right in both of these fixtures.

Once the format has been confirmed with The Cotswolds management team it will be posted online.
