New ground awaits pinks visit

In an amazing week of fixture confirmation, we can now publish the date of another prestigious match.

The match in question is for the back end of the season and sees us heading towards Hemel Hempstead for a contest against Boxmoor Cricket Club 2nd XI. This will be a new ground for the pinks to visit, and from the photographs it does look a lovely place to play.

The match will take place on Sunday the 17th of August. 40 overs per side with a 2pm start is the order of the day, with no bowler being able to bowl more than 8 overs. Tea will be taken in between innings.

Boxmoor have recently celebrated their 150th anniversary, so it is clear that we are playing a very well established club. Fixtures such as this are a real feather in the cap of a club such as ours, and this date will provide yet another exciting day out during the summer of 2008.

Many thanks for the arranging of this fixture must go to Paul Sindrey.

More fixtures will follow shortly as the list really begins to take shape
