Dates are now being scrutinised for the proposed family day at Lincoln Road, Enfield.

Enfield Cricket Club will field a 2nd/3rd XI against us, and it seems that all of our provisional ideas have been accepted by the Enfield committee. (When I say ideas I refer to Bouncy castles, barbecues, etc that were discussed at the AGM)

The big question now, is what date should we plump for ?

Enfield have given us a few dates to consider, and their favourite is the first Bank Holiday Sunday in May. We obviously want as many players and families to attend as possible, but there is no point settling for a day when half our squad are away for the weekend.

If you have any thoughts or major problems with the Bank Holiday option, please email admin@rosanericricket.co.uk . It will always be very unlikely that we can get a date to suit everyone, but at least this way we can give everyone an opportunity to comment on one of the biggest fixtures of the summer.

The big advantage with Bank Holiday Sunday fixtures is that we can all have a big drink up without having to worry about being in a fit state for work the next morning.
