Bad news for G Bell and Bloater after news filtered through from the 
southern hemisphere that only 12 pairs of those pink Puma wicket 
keeping gloves will ever be made. A brief flicker of hope emerged when 
a newspaper competition gave a chance to win one of the pair of gloves.





Unfortunately,the competition was only open to residents of Victoria state, Australia. 

The clubs procurement officer did attempt a cheeky entry but was knocked
back by the organisers, The Sunday Herald Sun newspaper when they spotted
the idenity of the entrant - Bouncer, Ramsey Street, c/o rosanericricket.co.uk

Anybody wanting to lobby the McGrath Foundation to lobby Puma to mass
produce these gloves with a percentage of all sales going to charity can contact
