Talk about fuelling the flames !

It seems that the Cotswolds are up for our proposed 2 match series in the summer of 2008. Mr Berryman launched into our squad with the patter of an unbeaten boxer heading up in the world.

He certainly has talked the talk, but he needs to make sure that he doesn’t end up on the canvass sparko!

Since our last encounter, back in 2006, the pinks have transformed into a completely different cricketing animal. The squad is growing all the time, and regular practice combined with numerous matches should make the next contest a different kettle of fish.

This coming summer we intend to take The Cotswolds on at their Eastnor Castle pitch, and then bring them back to Lincoln Road, so that we can teach them a lesson at the home of North London cricket. Our aim must be to win both matches, and show Mr Berryman that cricket has no place for boxing type pre match hype.
