Rosaneri cricket club are appealing to all players and club associates for any spare or unwanted kit. The club need to assemble a communal kit bag with the season rapidly approaching, but with funds very low, begging and borrowing seem the obvious way forward
So far we have one bat, one helmet, and a box. Hand me down gloves, pads and bats are urgently needed. Some senior players have a full selection of kit that can obviously be borrowed by those without, but it would be nice to have a fully stocked club kit bag.
Lots of players will be thinking of getting new items of kit with the season relentlessly marching towards us. So please bear the club in mind when deciding what to do with the kit that has been replaced.
Don’t worry if you haven’t got anything to contribute, you can still do your bit by keeping your eyes peeled in charity shops and at car boot sales. Please ask the club’s procurement officer, John Shuttlewood, for more details.
