The work on the 2008 fixture list is now well under way. With last season being such a success and everyone being desperate for more cricket, the list for 2008 will undoubtedly expand.

Not only are we looking to repeat last years matches, but we are also looking for new and exciting adventures. With that in mind, I thought it would be a good idea to open the debate to see if anyone has any opponents through different connections for us to consider.

Should we look locally ? Should we be looking for village green locations in Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, etc ? Or should we be looking for another big road trip similar to The Cotswolds or Derbyshire matches ?

Games will mainly be scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays, but we will continue to keep up the very popular midweek Twenty/20 matches.

Availability will be crucial from all players associated with the club, as turning up without the full 11 to any match is the ultimate insult to the opposition. However, I don’t anticipate this being a problem as by the end of the season we had started to develop a good depth to our squad.
