Christmas is just around the corner and most people’s attention is tuned into Christmas shopping for their friends and family.

You may be one step ahead and already have completed your Christmas shopping. But I doubt it. You, along with the majority of your family have probably not even started of thinking about it.

Over the next few weeks you will probably be asked, “What do you want for Christmas?”

Well this is your chance to be one step ahead. Get yourself a list together of things you need for your cricket bag. You can prepare a list of items that range across the whole price spectrum, from a pair of batting inner gloves at £4, to a new bat at over £100.

Other items you may want to consider “Asking for” include Jumpers, shoes, bags, shirts, pads, gloves, and sunglasses.

And don’t worry if an auntie or a grand-parent always insists on buying you socks, you can now make a polite phone call and ask for a specialist pair of cricket socks !
