Bad luck or brilliance.....by Andy Underwood

Bad luck or brilliance ?

Don’t feel too sorry for the batsman though as they are all Australian !

The first clip is a brilliant run out from AB De Villiers, and boy would you be gutted if you lost your wicket in this fashion.

The next pair of clips show 2 amazing catches in different matches, with poor old Matty Hayden being the victim on both occasions.

We cannot expect to reach these heights of fielding excellence, but we must work on our fielding individually for next season as good fielding can be the difference between winning and losing.

The 1970/80’s goalkeeping legend John Burridge allegedly had his wife throw fruit at him in the kitchen to sharpen his reflexes. What harm can it do, apart from you ending up with a few bruised apples in the fruit salad ? And you never know, it may be the difference between making you a fielding champion rather than a fielding chump.
