Rosaneri cricket club have at last found a supplier who has a confirmed supply of the legendary pink grips. The grips as seen throughout England’s winter tour of Australia had become like gold dust in the world of amateur cricket. But after sheer persistence and hundreds of knock backs, including club contacts visiting shops down under, a reliable source has been established.
The grips cost £3.49 each, but the postage costs £6 per order. Obviously, it makes it vital for us to order as one job lot. An order of 6 or over would be ideal, as it then means the grip costs less than a fiver a shout.

Although not compulsory, it would be a great touch for us to use the pink grips as the club are affectionately known throughout the sporting world as “The Pinks”.
As a footnote, Paul Collingwood when asked at a recent press conference what had kick started his resurgence in form, replied, “The pink grip”.
