The news articles will be coming thick and fast over the next few months, but I would like to take this opportunity to appeal to all budding authors out there in cricket land to contribute an article or two during the winter months.

The articles can be short and to the point, or they can ramble over a couple of pages. But the important thing is to keep the content on the website fresh. Previous cameo contributors have included Shell, Pits, Kirk, Bloater, and Mat.

Why not write an account of your season. It can be funny, or can be a factual interpretation of where positives and negatives came along throughout the season. It could be an article about the quality of tea we experienced. You can even write something about what you want to happen in 2008.

Articles can be sent in ready to publish format, or they can be sent for the attention of the website editor to edit as necessary. Contributors are reminded that our website is viewed by a wide audience and therefore common decency should be kept in mind at all times.

We all enjoy logging in every day and some club members even have this site as their homepage. But it is important that you keep the contributions coming to avoid the close season becoming stale.
