Do you fancy an Indian ?

Indian, Chinese, Italian or English is the question facing all Rosaneri cricketers.

We already know that the Marcus vote will go to The Jade Garden Chinese, but it is prudent to ask everyone’s opinion to ensure the biggest possible attendance. The night will be dedicated to cricket banter and stories from the 2007 season and will serve as a way of bringing a great cricketing year to an end.

The night will also give us a chance to present the coveted Golden Fielder trophy. Other awards, if any, are still to be decided. The main problem with other awards is the selection criteria. For example, if we had a catch of the season some players would not even have seen the best catch if they were not playing in that game.

Not only do we need to establish a style of food for the meal, but we also need to establish a location. Do we base ourselves in Hertford, Cheshunt or Enfield ?

One thing that is a little more certain is the date of the meal. That has been narrowed down to the first couple of weeks in November, and realistically will be a Friday or Saturday.

If you have strong views on any of the above including style of food, location, awards, or date and time, then please let us know on admin@rosanericricket.co.uk .

If the responses are not forthcoming or you are happy with any option, then a decision will be made amongst club officials and then posted on this site early next week.

The club’s AGM is likely to take place in December or January.
