Mr Bell just waiting for the fat lady
Last Saturday's game added 4 points to the table, and as a result of Mr Bell picking up two points he is literally waiting for the fat lady to clear her throat.
The standard of batting we faced on Saturday was very high indeed and a year ago i think we would have struggled to pick up a single wicket.
Mr Bell took two trademark lightening stumpings to move well clear at the top and basically secure this years trophy. Stephen Underwood picked up his first point with a super catch in the covers at ankle height, and Mark Cox held on to a diving effort to make an important breakthrough.
There is one week left in the Golden Fielder competition, as the season comes to an end at Walthamstow on Saturday.
