Rosaneri enjoy another great net session despite jobsworth caretaker
Rosaneri enjoyed another great net session despite attempts by a sourfaced jobsworth caretaker to spoil the occasion. The Rossers arrived early at 8.30pm in order to get the nets set up and underway in good time only to find the sport hall door locked shut! Fortunately pitbull was able to sneak through a Karate session in the adjoining gymnasium and unlock the dorr from the inside.
After 5 minutes a grumpy old sod arrived claiming to be the caretaker who questioned our means of entry before informing us that we are not allowed in the hall until 9.00pm sharp despite the fact that the hall is empty between 8.15 and 9.00. After some polite debate the Rossers were informed that they must pay for extra time if we need to set up before 9.00. However, the Rossers remain hopeful that the laid back caretaker from the previous week will be back in charge next week!
Once things got underway the Rossers enjoyed another great workout in the nets and it looks like we will be in fine fettle come the summer!
Next week could be a lean turnout as there are likely to be numerous victims of another "Valentines Day Massacre"!
