The build up to Saturday’s big match continues, but it emerges that Rosaneri are in the middle of a player crisis.

8 contracted players out of the 11 have confirmed as definite, which leaves 3 positions to fill from the ad hocs. However, so far in a freak week only one ad hoc player has confirmed that they are available. All excuses have been very genuine, and it is clearly a week where the cricketing gods are colluding against us.

If there are any players available who have not yet come forward, or if somebody knows a player who would be willing to help out, then please let club officials know as soon as possible.

The nine players we do have available are as follows:

Downing, M.Cox, Tyrrell, Freeman, Shuttlewood, Leigh, Alfieri, Rose, S.Underwood.

The match will start at 1pm prompt, and it is suggested that players arrive at the ground just after 12pm.

It would be a great shame if we have to start this match with less than a full team, as it has been a brilliant season.
